No complete specimens of this species were collected. The largest fragments rarely measure more than 15 mm. long ; Fauvel (1923) gives a maximum of 100 mm. for the length of a complete specimen. Two pairs of small but stout conical antennae are situated on the anterior border of the prostomium and an un- paired antenna occurs dorsally between the eyes. The proboscis is smooth, except for a broad group of small terminal papillae. The five pairs of tentacular cirri.
