Arrangements for this feature will be made at the November meeting of the club. The C. Young & Sons Co. has issued the catalogue of fall bulbs. Charles Young says the call for bulbs has been excellent in both local and shipping trade. Fred H. Weber has booked a few good-sized wedding decorations for this and next month. Dave Geddes, who is with Mr. Weber, has fully recovered from his recent sickness and is again at his post in the store. F. M. Davis, who is manager for the Missouri Rose Nursery, on the St. Charles and Walton roads, says they have had a good season in hardy, field- grown roses and have been consigning a large cut of Cochet roses to this market. They were handled by the W. C. Smith Wholesale Floral Co. M. F. Widmer, of Highland, 111., who has a branch store in East St. Louis, on Illinois avenue, has had a nice busi- ness since the season opened. There were a great many fancy cut mums at H. G. Berning's last week and a big lot of good carnations. All sea- sonable flowers were plentiful. The fine weather during the last week made transient trade in the downtown district good.
