Japanese Knotweed stems marked after injection of glyphosate


Japanese Knotweed (Fallopia Japonica) is an invasive plant which is hard to remove and can seriously damage buildings and construction sites if left unchecked. Causing the spread of the weed in the UK can make you liable to prosecution. Japanese knotweed can grow through cement walls and floors. It is an extremely stubborn weed to eradicate. Pictured knotweed stems (canes) recently injected with a glyphosate based herbicide and marked with masking tape to indicate which plants have been treated
