A practical treatise on the technics and principles of dental orthopedia and prosthetic correction of cleft palate . Dr. Jerry A. Robinson of Jackson, Michigan, employed this same principle, usingsilk ligatures instead of rubber, by tying them to the necks of the teeth in a casequite similar to Fig. 274, for a young man living in his family. The traction liga-ture was removed at meal times. The correction was accomplished in a short time, and retained by tying the ligatures to adjoining teeth. Fig. 275.
