Prices remain at tlic high mark, both wholesale and retail. California violets are now arriving in fine shape. Plumosus is also being shipped in from California. Various Notes. Fort Wayne florists are cooperating in one united advertising effort for St. Valentine's day, instead of advertising separately. The Blossom Floral Co. furnished the decorations for the Ad Club frolic, which was a much-talked-about enter- tainment. This firm has been so rushed with funeral work that the force had to work all day Sunday to get it out. A fine bed of calla lilies is to be seen at the greenhouses of the Knecht-Freese Co. The cut from this bed has been especially good. Roses at this estab- lishment are completely off crop. The Lanternier Florists have been busy with decorations of various sorts. They furnished the decorations for the Eeinwald recital and also for the farm- ers' and merchants' get-together meet- ing, the first of its kind to be held here. E. C. Wenninghoff reports a busy week in funeral work, having had orders for several blankets and other large pieces. Some fine hyacinths were seen at this store. W. J. & M. S. Vesoy report a r umber of telegraph orders coming in. Judge and Mrs. Vesey werj in Chicago last week. The Doswell Floral Co. furnished the decorations for the Kui^ht Templars' ball. The decorations were red and white and carnations were used for souvenirs. This firm also furnished the decorations for the dance at the Elks' Club. The Doswell Fl
