A contingent of Indian policemen stand in formation during India's Republic Day celebrations in Srinagar. The authorities in Kashmir valley on Tuesday organized official functions to mark India's 72nd Republic Day amid stepped up security vigil. Checkpoints have been erected at many places in Srinagar and frisking has been intensified. Low speed mobile internet services have also been temporarily suspended across the valley.
