Seance. Fake photograph of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930) at a seance with ghostly figures appearing above his head (bottom left). Doyle was most famous for creating the fictional detective Sherlock Holmes and his method of scientific deduction. Doyle himself believed in fairies and often used mediums to contact the spirit world. He was deceived by this photograph even though the quality is very poor.
