Duffy Square, at the northern end of Times Square, is well-known for the TKTS reduced-price theatre tickets booth, opened in 1973 (renovated 2008) on West 47th Street, between Broadway and 7th Avenue. Here, from the top of the steps forming the roof of the ticket booth, we see a busy evening twilight view of people and traffic travelling south along 7th Avenue, looking north.
