Roman temple, virtual reality display. 3D computer model of the ruins of the Nymphaeum of Egeria, in Caffarella Park, Rome, Italy. This structure dates to the 2nd century, and consists of a natural grotto that was decorated and dedicated to the water nymph Egaria. The area was landscaped, and a spring provided water for a lake. A statue of Egaria was placed in the alcove at the far end of the grotto. This computer model was created by the Laboratory for the Virtual Heritage of Rome.
