Ely, Nevada - Hank Vogler's Need More Sheep Company raises sheep in north Spring Valley, with permits to graze them on BLM and Forest Service land. Peruvian sheepherders prepare to move sheep into a truck to send them to market. Nevada ranchers are opposing the Southern Nevada Water Authority's plan to build a 300-mile pipeline to pump billions of gallons of water annually to Las Vegas. They fear the removal of so much water from their valleys would dry up their springs and make ranching impossible.
