A Marine Corps veteran, Bryson most recently served as a motor transport operator for Headquarters and Support Battalion, School of Infantry East, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The Navy and Marine Corps Medal is awarded for acts of heroism despite personal risk and is the highest honor one can achieve for non-combat service.
