Where the winters are not severe they may be grown out of doors and left in the ground permanently. Belladonna Major. Large rose pink, trumpet-shaped flowers, borne in clusters. 25c each; $ per 10. Vittati Hybrids. Immense flowers with petals of velvety texture. The colors range through shades of red, scarlet, pink and white. 65c each; $ per ANEMONES One of the most beautiful and showy flowers, axceedingly brilliant in color. Plant in October or November, four or five inches apart and cover one inch deep in a moist, rich, well drained soil, and then if well pro- tected by leaves or litter, very beautiful flowers may be expected. Make the soil rich and water frequently in the spring. The bulbs may be kept till spring, when, if planted early, they will do well. For forcing indoors, put three or four roots in porous, rich soil in a five-inch pot. Keep the pots in a cool situation until the roots are well started, when they may be removed to the place where they are desired to bloom. De Caen Mixed.
