St Nicholas Cole Abbey, church in the City of London; exterior

St Nicholas Cole Abbe, church in the City of London rebuilt after the Great Fire of 1666, by Chrisopher Wren and Robert Hooke (who is credited with the trumpet shaped spire, 1670s). The south front, with windows high off the ground to clear the shops that once blocked the south wall. The creation of Queen Victoria Street in the 1860s opened up this view.
