Hadrian's Wall Northumberland England


Hadrian's Wall is a stone and turf fortification built by the Roman Empire across the width of what is now northern England. It was begun in AD 122. There is a well preserved section of Hadrian's Wall by Hotbank crags near Crag Lough in Northumberland National Park.
