Association Gladioli are nearing the end and not so many are coming in as formerly. Tuberose stalks are arriving in good condition. The usual glut in these was not noticed this season, as the market generally cleaned up daily. There arc also plenty of asters from both local and outside shippers and theiso, too, clean up well. Little of anytliing else is coming in from outdoors. In greens the market is well sii]i|ilied every day and tlie big demand clefirs this stock daily. Various Notes. The St. Louis Florists' Club will liold its regular monthly meeting September 11. The place will be decided upon at an officers' meeting September 4, at the home of Vice-President Beneke. Sev- eral invitations have been extended and all members will be notified of the ]>la('e of meeting. Mr. and Mrs. H. (\. Berning, Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Weber, Mrs. Brueuig, Miss Stamm, Mrs. E. E. Windier, Mrs. Pel- letier and Mrs. Diemcr arrived home the latter part of last week from their trip ma<le since the close of the S. A. F. convention. They report a most enjoy- able time.
