190608-N-WI365-1047 PHILIPPINE SEA (June 08, 2019) – The amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force amphibious transport dock ship JS Kunisaki (LST 4003) sail in formation during a training exercise with other Navy and Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force warships. Ashland is underway conducting routine operations as part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
