NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (Nov. 7, 2022) Sailors aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) render honors to the Spanish navy Álvaro de Bazán-class guided-missile frigate Blas de Lezo (F103) as the ship arrives in Naval Station Rota, Spain, for a brief stop-for-fuel, Nov. 7, 2022. Roosevelt is on a scheduled deployment in the Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by Sixth Fleet to defend , allied and partner interests.
