The repeated current in the plate circuitreferred to above is of radio frequency and is thereforenot heard in the telephone, the latter instrument indicatingonly the rectified current flowing from plate to repeated radio frequency current is utilized, however,in the regenerative and amplification circuits to bediscussed later.
