Fish farm breeding cryonics. Close-up of trout sperm being stored in liquid nitrogen to create a sperm bank for genetic selection. The sperm was dissected from fish testes for use in egg fertilisation research. This project is part of the PEIMA experimental fish farm (Pisciculture Experimentale INRA des Monts d'Arree) in Sizun, Finistere, Brittany, in north-western France. INRA is the French national agronomy research institute. Photographed in 2011.
