The flags of the People's Republic of China and corresponding banners clearly mark welcome towards Xi Jinping. However, among persons standing there are also supporters of Falun Gong, who hold up banners calling for an end to the torture and persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Pro-Tibet protesters also.
During President Xi Jinping's trip to Prague in late March 2016, supporters of Falun Gong and persons in support of Tibet’s independence from Chinese rule went onto the streets of Prague to protest against the Chinese state's persecution and oppression.
