Pere Navarro, the PSC leader and former defense minister, Carme Chacon, rrode for the inauguration of Barcelona-Figueres high-speed rail line (AVE). The route from Barcelona to the border city of Figueres is operational from today. Prince Felipe was guest of honor, Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy; Catalan President, Artur Mas;Ana Pastor , Minister of Development of Spain rode for the inauguration of the line which reduces the journey time to less than one hour.
