The ovicells which are not placed between two zooecia in the same longitudinal row but on the zooecial distal margin, which is directed outwards from the middle of the colony, are surrounded by kcnozooecia. The radial fibers which run down along the basal side of the colony issue far distally on the individual zooecia (Levinsen, 1909). Genotype.—Cornucopina (Bicellaria) grandis Busk, 1852.
