Nursery stock Ohio Painesville Catalogs; Vegetables Seeds Catalogs; Flowers Catalogs; Bulbs (Plants) Catalogs; Plants, Ornamental Catalogs; Fruit trees Seedlings Catalogs; Fruit Catalogs. THE STORRS & HARRISON CO.'S EMERALD. Emerald. This new variety is strictly an evergreen, holding its color until fully ripe. Its distinct dark green and spineless skin attracts the attention of everyone at first sight. The flesh being peculiarly crisp and tender, and the flavor delicate, highly re- commended it as a sheer. The young fruit makes an excellent pickle, and when ripe none excel it for a sweet pickle. For long distance shipoing, it will prove a boon, on account of holding its deep green color so much longer than any of the yellow or white spine sorts. It is almost entirely free from warts and spines, so much so that it may be called spineless. Pkt. 5c, oz. 10c, %tb. 25c, lb. 75c.
