The finale of the gladiator show at the Puy du Fou theme park in the Vendee, France


Puy du Fou is an historical theme park in Les Epesses in the heart of the Vendée region of Western France. It has won the award for the best theme park in europe and is a fantastic place for people of all ages. It started in 1977 when Philippe de Villiers and Jean Saint Bris decided to create an original show named the Cinéscénie. The park then developed from there around the renaissance castle and what started a a small attraction grew into an amazing theme park of shows depicting the life and history of the local region. Shows are constantly being created and developed which means there is always something new to see.
