Sash or mechanical side with five oval fields, anonymous, c. 1850 Sash of natural -colored machine side. Elongated rectangular model with rounded ends. The repeating pattern consists of five connected oval fields, with two lying, curling branches in each field. Each oval field is formed by a pendulum of connected oval fields with rosette flowers. This pendulum provides a border with semi -circular shells around the sash. On the center line of the tie, on the switching point between the oval fields, a large flower bends in both fields. This motif of the large flower repeats itself once inside each field on each long side, diagonally opposite each other. The curling branches are in the oval field and spring from a half -striker -shaped cartouche along the long sides. The motifs are connected by a machine tulip with a few mosies. A mechanical decorative land has been used in the heart of the large flowers, a machine snowflake land. In the cartouches along the edges and in the oval fields that form the pendulum, a coarser ornamental land is used. The motives are provided with contour threads. The scrap edge is finished with picots. West-Europa cotton (textile)
