Sun Trust Building across from Treasury Department at the corner of 15th Street and New York Avenue in Washington DC, is known for its distinctive gold-domed corner turret and clock. Designed by Architect James Wind and built in 1867-68 it was originally called the National Safe Deposit, Savings and Trust Company Bank and is listed on the National Register for Historic Buildings.
