Randal Forsythe holds on to the cannon barrel during his attempt on the Alpha Warrior battle rig July 31 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Approximately 40 men and women attempted to complete the battle rig with only six finishing. After the competition, the battle rig will become a permanent training fixture at the pavilion behind the Field House near the East Gate track.
