RADIANCE—Hybrida type, a very brilliant and rich rose or cerise color with brown veined yellowish throat. Begins blooming very early and pro- fusely; of uniform height, branching nicely and on outstanding petunia. The only entry recommended for a Gold Medal by more than one judge. Flowers 1 ' to 2' across. Pkt., 25c. SCABIOSA, PEACE — Semi-tall, double white, companion to Bronze Medal Win- ner of 1940, Heavenly Blue. True, good for cutting and easier handled garden type than tall varieties. Flowers fully double, 1 ' across, beehive shaped on 6' to 8' stems. Pkt., 25c. BLACK RUBY —• Deep velvety maroon. Lilliput or Pompon zinnia of merit. Dis- tinct color for this class, 1 '/4' flowers on long stems and quite true, perhaps 95. Popular with visitors and effec- tively used with lighter colors. 18' tall. Pkt., 25c. PHLOX ROSY MORN—Gigontea single, annual phlox of brilliant rose with a white eye. Extra large flowered, pleosing color combination and an early, free bloomer. True and uniform. 12' toll. Pkt., 25c.
