Atherstone hat factory, Coventry canal, Atherstone. The dilapidated building has been vandalised and stood empty and is now set to become housing for the elderly. Hatting is what made Atherstone famous and was it's main trade. Sadly none of the factories no longer exist and it is hoped that this one of the last examples standing will be preserved by keeping the exterior and renovating the intereior.
