Anyhow, the deliverance of the Church andRealm from the Papal yoke must be acknowledged to havebeen a happy consummation. With theu freedom from papal supremacy there camealso gradually a deliverance from that rigorous yoke of eccle-siastical discipline which was one of Romes choice weaponsof argument.
