He was then attachedto the parochial church of Xotre Dame at Mont-real, remaining there several years, duringwhich time he composed and printed his laterbooks on the native languages. He returned tothe Lake about 1885 and is there at the presenttime (1890). In addition to the above works, he has com-posed a number in the Mohawk language.
