Breanne Naone, assigned to the “Swamp Foxes” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 74, walks on the flight deck of guided-missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG 61) during flight operations in the Red Sea, Aug. 8. Monterey is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
