A Victorian horse-drawn tram (No. 173) , advertising Nestles Milk. ---- American, George Francis Train first introduced trams to Birkenhead in 1860 but was jailed for "breaking and injuring" the highway with his when he laid tram tracks on the roads of London. After an 1870 Act of Parliament made things easier after which many local horse-drawn tramway companies were last horse-drawn tram ended in London in 1915
