Old ceramic tiles from The Plymouth Breweries, advertising their Star ale, on the outside wall of The Dolphin Inn in the Devon town of Dartmouth. These tiles are on the Dolphin Inn in Market Street. Plymouth were an old Devon firm, founded in the 1850s. They survived, having taken over a number of other local breweries, until 1970 when they themselves were bought out by Courage, Barclay, Simonds and their name was changed to Courage in 1973.
