A sword with a scabbard, Munich, circa 1600 Double-edged blade stamped three times on either side with the king's head of Johannes Wundes from Solingen, a stylised wolf mark and the inscription "IOHANES WUNDES - SOLIDEO GLORIA". The fullered ricasso inscribed "GOTTES SEGEN - ALLES LEGEN". Blackened iron hilt comprising two arms and bars at bottom. Original leather-covered grip with flat oval pommel.
