This promising- new Rose is a true hybrid obtained by Mr Jackson Dawson of the Arnold Arboretum, by crossing^ the Rosa multiflora with the wel! known Hybrid Perpetual, General Jacqueminot, the latter being- its pollen parent. The result is a vigorous and hardy plant with a tendency to climb high.
