Oxford, England - 7 August 2020; Here we see one of the most famous buildings in the heart of Oxford- the world famous Bodleian Library of the University of Oxford. Dating back - in part - to the 14th Century, it is one of the oldest centres of scholarship and leaning in Europe. With over 12 million items, it is the second biggest library in Britain after the British Library. At its entrance is located a bronze statue of William Herbert, Earl of Pembroke, Chancellor of the University from 1617 to 30; this was cast by Le Seur to a design of Peter Paul Rubens. Here we stand by the statue and look straight up into the crystal clear skies with a fish eye lens to get this bizarre and beautiful view of the library.
