While God in His infinite wis-dom has seen fit to close his career so early in life, by removinghim from our midst, we feel that the memory of his Christianlife and work shall ever follow us as an influence for that whichis noblest, truest and highest. We desire to express our feelingof profound grief in his loss by resolving that this public expres-sion be printed in The Daily Princetonian, and by conveying tothe bereaved family our heartfelt sympathy in their sad andsudden affliction. Senior year, We returned to College after a most enjoyable Summer andbegan the last year of our course in Princeton on Wednesday,September 19, 1894. Senior Year, the Freshmans anticipation,the Seniors participation! The last, the highest rung onPrincetons ladder. It was the same, yet different from ourpreceding years. Why, when Lady Nelson came here inFreshman year and heard the fellows talking about Princetonbuttons he couldnt comprehend what they meant, but con-ceived the idea that the tailors put orange buttons on Princetonmens suits, blue on Yale mens clothes, and crimson ones onHarvards well-dressed fellows. As gay, young Sophomores we had lots to do in taking care of the charge entrusted to usby the Faculty; Stately Juniors, and we led the Freshmen tovictory and glory; and now as grave, old Seniors we havereached the summit of the hill, and looking forward we see ashor
