Air Force Airman 1st Class John Myers, 58th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron HC/MC-130 crew chief, performs a pre-flight inspection on a new MC-130J Commando II assigned to the 415th Special Operations Squadron at Kirtland Air Force Base, , Jan. 27, 2022. The 415 SOS has not received a new C-130 since 2014. This new aircraft arrived with approximately 17 hours of flight time and conducted its first flight at KAFB on Jan. 28, 2022.
