February 28th 1959 was a sad day in railway history as it heralded the end of the M&GN Joint Railway system. Here on the last day Ivatt allocated to 32F Yarmouth Beach is seen approaching Weston with the train from Yarmouth. Weston was located on one of the lines west between Sutton Bridge and Bourne 2 miles east of Spalding. Note the scribbled That's Yer Lot headboard carried by the locomotive. The headboard had apparently been attached by local drivers as an epitaph.
