Close-up detail of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. The image was taken by Rosetta's OSIRIS wide-angle camera on September 17, 2016, when Rosetta was km from the comet's nucleus. The European Space Agency's Rosetta spacecraft first rendezvoused with comet 67P in August of 2014. The mission came to an end on September 30, 2016.
