The mainentrance will be adorned with carvedpillars and will be in the centre of thebuilding. An outer vestibule withmarble steps will lead to the level. Onone side of the octagonal hallway will bethe Secretarys office, and also the en-trances to the cloak room and the eleva-tors. The chapel, which is reachedfrom the hallway, has a dome-shapedceiling, the centre of which extendsthrough all the floors, up to the roof. Wood of $125,000 as the nucleusof a building fund, on the condition thatan additional $100,000 should be secured,the second $100,000 to constitute an en-dowment fund to be invested and heldin trust for the Association. This wise stipulation was not long inbeing complied with. The friends ofthe Association went vigorously to work,and within six months, the total fund,amounting to considerably over thenecessary quarter of a million, wasraised.
