Cincinnati Terminal On August 12. an elderly lady started Queen City Avenue crossing at Brightonin the face of an approaching passenger trainon the east bound main line and a freight trainon the westbound main line, while yard enginewas switching a cut of cars close by. Shebecame confused and bewildered, when Hust-ling Bill Robinson, yardmaster, realizing thesituation, went toher assistance and, after trainshad cleared the crossing, escorted her to .^^..^ HE DIDNT WANT TO WEAR THEM! It took much argument and all his foremans power of per-suasion to get him to put them on. But the foreman persisted—as all foremen SHOULD PERSIST—and won. A few days later, when this jagged piece of brass came hurtling toward his eyes, the goggles saved them — saved the man from probable blindness andcertain suffering. HES A SAFETY MAN NOW!
