Tiburon Mariposa Lily. The Sacramento Fish and Wildlife Office is currently reviewing the status of the threatened Tiburon Mariposa Lily. (June 2011) This flower is in bloom now and can be found at Ring Mountain Preserve. The Preserve is an approximately 400-acre parcel that was acquired by The Nature Conservancy in 1982 to save it from planned development. It was later transferred from TNC to the County. Due to the efforts of TNC, the lily was downlisted to threatened by CDFG in 1987 (the first plant to be downlisted by the state).
