170914-N-UK248-113 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Sept. 14, 2017) A CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 161 (Reinforced) lands on the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) during flight operations. Pearl Harbor is part of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
