Marines with 2d Combat Engineer Battalion (CEB), 2d Marine Division (MARDIV), launch an anti-Personnel Obstacle Breach System (APOBS) during the SAPPER Squad Competition on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Aug. 10, 2022. During this exercise, Marines from 1st CEB, 1st MARDIV, and 2d CEB conducted urban demolition training during the annual SAPPER Squad Competition. The competition consisted of a wide array of mission essential tasks under a stressful environment and recognized top talent within the Marine Corps’ combat engineer community.
