Lake Muskoka is one of the largest of the lakes comprisedunder the generic term of the Lakes of Muskoka, being twenty-two miles long and nine miles wide, while it is studded with some350 islands, and affords splendid fishing. Bracebridge, the chief town of the Muskoka district, and astation of the Northern & Northwestern division of the GrandTrunk, is agreeably situated on the cliffs of the river Muskoka, and 66 SUMMER RESORTS. the neighborhood merits a sojourn from the tourist to visit itsinteresting surroundings.
