Among the less-visted of Istanbul's cultural attractions, is the superb little 6th century Chora Church, which was conveted to a mosque in the 16th century and was made a museum in 1948. It features some splendid galleries of 12th-14th century Byzantine mosaics and frescoes and remains one of the hidden treasures of Istanbul, Turkey.
