June Friday 15, 2012 - Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and the Chinese President Hu Jintao and his wife boarding the royal Danish yacht HDMY Dannebrog at Amaliehaven near the Amalienborg Palace in the port of Copenhagen for a short guided cruise in the harbour on the official visit to Denmark.

During the first official visit to Denmark by a Chinese president, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark invited the Chinese President Hu Jintao and his wife Liu Yongqing on a guided harbour cruise in the port of Copenhagen. On the programme were new, modern buildings in the harbour, the water purifying plant "Lynetten", the wind turbine farm, and The Little Mermaid, partly presented by the Danish Minister for the Environment Ida Auken.
