As it lies, the length is about 5 mm., but if straightened outit would be 20 or 25 mm. long. It shows signs externally of beingdivided by a whiteish furrow representing the lumen which is mm. wide, and not always strictly median. On the tip uf eachare two notches, one wider and rounder than the other, whichform three small denticulations. Some of the smaller teeth in theheap show a striation like that of Lophoceniis, but much stronger. Itis not, however, visible in the teeth which are in the row.
